With these stills life, the objective is to return to the sociological foundations of documentary photography, drawing inspiration from the German photography movement of "New Objectivity," particularly the work of Karl Blossfeldt, which focused on the notion of inventory. The works of Walker Evans, notably his series "Beauties of the Common Tool," have also influenced my approach, showing how a simple screwdriver can become a remarkable piece of art. Through "No Hands," I aim to highlight concepts of mass consumption, object accumulation, and the routine embedded in our daily actions. This project also explores the intrinsic beauty of simplicity in objects while questioning the role of art: what transforms an object into a work of art? How can a mundane utensil in a drawer become a controversial piece once exhibited in a gallery?
